The Voice of Somaliland Minority Women Organization (VOSOMWO), in collaboration with Plan International, organized a meeting for 45 participants representing the Daami, State House, and Sheikh-Nur neighborhoods.
During the session, committee members and other participants were trained on the manual guiding the referral process for cases of abuse against vulnerable populations. Representatives from VOSOMWO and the neighborhood committees delivered remarks highlighting the importance of the manual and its role in strengthening their ongoing protection and referral work.
At the conclusion of the session, representatives from the various neighborhood committees expressed their appreciation for the manual and noted that it would be a valuable tool for their work. They committed to using the manual in their respective offices to strengthen their operations and improve the referral process for vulnerable individuals.
The committee members also expressed their gratitude to VOSOMWO and Plan International for their collaboration and support in developing and introducing this important initiative.
